It all really started with a ride to Deals Gap at the Tennessee/North Carolina state line...
400 miles down, ride the dragon and all around the area, 400 miles back. It was that trip, on an R1, that inspired the passion behind; Sport bike-Ergonomics.
Why not?
Why not add something to the bike for Sport Touring and City riding. Why not really change the bike into a more “sport fit”? More snug.
We took our time, and we teamed up with some of the best talent in industry. We wanted to create a market segment. The notion that the riding position could be improved for extended riding. Padded support and groin protection. Do it in a way that doesn’t surrender the performance reasons the lean position is designed into the bike. |
What started as a total seat redesign was narrowed to focus on the seating common denominator found on most modern day sport bikes. The body position of the rider.
We aimed to improve rider comfort and safety during:
- Substantial front brake application
- Imperfections on the riding surface
- Body fatigue associated with extended riding.
- Two up riding
We hit our target
While riding your sport bike, have you?
- Hit a big pothole
- Had /groin-smash/ contact with the bike
- Experienced bump-steer with on/off freeway ramps
- Applied the front brakes with urgency
- Had a passenger push you into the tank while braking
